What is a compatible cartridge?
A compatible cartridge is a brand-new cartridge made by a third-party manufacturer as a direct replacement for the original. It's built to match your printer's specifications and deliver the same results as the branded version, at a much lower price. It's not recycled — it's made fresh.
What's the difference between original (OEM), compatible and remanufactured?
"Original" or "OEM" (Original Equipment Manufacturer) cartridges are made by the same brand as your printer — e.g. a genuine HP cartridge made by HP. A compatible cartridge is a brand-new, third-party-made equivalent. A remanufactured (or "refilled") cartridge is a genuine empty that has been collected, cleaned, refilled and tested to original standards. Compatible and remanufactured both save you money versus OEM.
Will using a compatible cartridge void my printer warranty?
No. Under UK law, manufacturers must honour the printer's warranty and cannot impose anti-competitive terms — so using a compatible or remanufactured cartridge will not invalidate it. Our cartridges are also covered by a 24-month guarantee, and in the unlikely event one causes a fault with your printer, we'll put it right.
Is the print quality as good as the original?

How many pages will this cartridge print?
Page yield depends on the specific cartridge and how much you print. Yields are measured to an ISO standard at 5% page coverage (roughly a typical text page). Standard and XL options are available for many models, with XL holding more ink/toner for a lower cost per page. The expected page yield is shown on each product's page.
How do I know this is the right cartridge for my printer?
Every product lists the printer makes and models it fits. As long as the manufacturer, series and model number match your printer, it's the correct cartridge. If you're unsure, search your printer model or get in touch and we'll confirm before you order.
How long will delivery take and how much does it cost?
We offer free next-day delivery on all orders over £30. Orders under £30 incur a £3.00 shipping fee. To qualify for next-day delivery, place your order before 2pm.
What is your returns policy?
If you change your mind, you can return unopened items within 14 days for a refund. If a cartridge is faulty, we'll replace it or refund you under our 24-month guarantee.
What guarantee do I get?
All our cartridges are covered by a 24-month guarantee. If you're not satisfied, or if one of our cartridges causes a fault with your printer, we'll put it right with a replacement or refund.
How should I store spare cartridges?
Cartridges can be kept for around 12 months when stored in their sealed packaging at room temperature, away from direct sunlight, without affecting performance — so it's worth keeping a spare so you never run out.
My printouts are streaky or faded — what can I do?
This is usually a blocked print head rather than the cartridge. Run a head-cleaning cycle from your printer's software or menu (check your printer manual for steps). If it persists after a couple of cycles, contact us and we'll help.
