Introduction
This statement sets out the steps taken by Eason Bros Ltd to understand and address the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking within our business and our supply chains.
We are not legally obliged to publish this statement, but we do so voluntarily because we are committed to operating ethically and responsibly, and because we believe that businesses of every size have a part to play in tackling modern slavery.
About us
Eason Bros Ltd (company number 11717318) is registered at Unit 11 Trent Business Park, Eastern Avenue, Lichfield, Staffordshire, United Kingdom, WS13 6RN. We operate the Ink365 brand and the website ink365.co.uk.
We are a UK-based online retailer of printer ink and toner, supplying original (OEM), compatible, and remanufactured cartridges to consumers and businesses across the United Kingdom.
Our supply chains
We source the products we sell predominantly through established distributors and wholesalers based in the United Kingdom and the European Union. These distributors are themselves subject to UK and EU law, including legislation addressing forced labour and human trafficking.
We recognise that printer consumables can have extended international supply chains, and that the risk of modern slavery is generally greater further upstream — for example in the extraction of raw materials and in overseas manufacturing — than at the distribution level at which we operate. Sourcing through reputable UK and EU intermediaries, rather than directly from unverified overseas sources, is itself an important part of how we manage that risk.
Our commitment
We have zero tolerance for slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, and human trafficking. We are committed to acting with integrity in all our business dealings and to maintaining systems and controls, proportionate to our size, that guard against modern slavery in our operations and supply chain.
We expect all of our suppliers and business partners to share this commitment, to source their products ethically, and to comply with all applicable laws, including the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
Due diligence and risk management
As a small retailer rather than a manufacturer, our approach to due diligence is proportionate to our size and to the part of the supply chain in which we operate. In practice this means that we:
- prioritise established UK and EU distributors with whom we hold ongoing relationships, rather than unverified or one-off overseas sources;
- expect our suppliers to confirm, on request, their compliance with applicable modern slavery and labour laws;
- reserve the right to review, suspend, or end a supplier relationship where we become aware of practices inconsistent with this statement; and
- maintain our own employment practices in line with UK law, including paying at least the National Minimum Wage or National Living Wage, carrying out right-to-work checks, and ensuring that our employees work freely and are treated fairly.
Assessing the effectiveness of our approach
As a business of our size, we do not operate a formal independent supplier audit programme. We assess and manage risk through the close, direct relationships we hold with a small number of trusted distributors, and through ongoing awareness of the markets in which we operate. We will keep this approach under review and intend to strengthen and formalise it as the business grows.

We make our employees aware of the risks of modern slavery and of the commitments set out in this statement.
